Please arrive
at
8:40am to
assist in setting up the activities for the day.
During
tabletop toys and free play,
please play with the children. Some children need a little help to direct them.
During
clean up help
the children put away the toys. Please help the children learn to put the toys
in the appropriate bins or the proper places on the shelf. Please do not do this
all yourself - we want the children to learn this. They do very well with a
little help. Craft materials such as paint and glue we would prefer the parents
take care of. At this time parents can soak any dirty brushes or containers and
clean them later.
At circle
time please
stay with your child. This is a special time for you to be together.
During
free play or activities,
the following are to be done:
o
parents are to
put any projects/papers to be sent
home in each child's backpack.
o
The
bathroom must be wiped down each day
o
Clean toys as
per posted schedule.
o
Wipe down the
children’s chairs with Clorox Wipes
o
Wipe down tables
o
Sweep floor
o
The remaining
time join in any games or free play!
During
story time,
this is the time for parents to set up snack with your child.
Please let your child help in putting out the napkins and cups.
At
bathroom time
parents are to be in the bathroom helping the children wash their hands and
asking children if they have to use the bathroom.
During
classroom time, parent
helpers are to accompany children to the bathroom when needed.
At snack
time sit with
your child and enjoy snack time.
At craft
time assist a
table with the craft. Please let the children do their own work on crafts.
Encourage and praise the children for their efforts.
During
goodbye time
assist the children in getting any projects that are not in their bags.
Working parents must stay until all children have been picked up!
